I know, I got that vibe too— but I like this WAAAAAYYYYYY better than Bella’s reasoning for turning. One, she didn’t know she had vampire blood in her and wouldn’t have willingly done so. Two, she sacrificed herself to let Stefan save Matt instead which I think is much more honorable than Bella’s whole turning-into-a-vampire-to-survive-the-pregnancy-of-a-demon-baby thing. Three, it’s almost befitting that she would “die” in the same way she was destined to: off the bridge, in the water where her parents did.
